Why do we need a Spiritual United Nations?

"There will be Wars and rumors of wars." Why? What has happened to the great governments of man? To mention a few, the Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Babylonian, Ottoman, English and Russian; they have all toppled. When will the great societies of today be numbered among the great governments of the past? Yes, I said, " When."

I believe that the drafters of the United States Constitution were divinely inspired. Never before or since have men come together in agreement on such a near perfect founding document. They were all students of history and through out history the only lasting thing has been a belief in a God. They understood that any nation that was not founded under God would soon only be remembered in the history books.

Many who profess not to believe in God look at this fact as a joke. They will quickly point out that most of the armed conflicts in the world are being inspired and conducted by religions and governments that profess to believe in the same God, Christians, Moslems and Hebrews. Given this state of violence and death they rightly ask: "What moral high ground is there for establishing a Spiritual United Nations?"

To start, the founding beliefs of all of the major religions of the world, including Karl Marx’s thesis on communism, have the basic theme that all men are created equal. In other words, we should love our neighbors as ourselves. In addition, in theology and communism. we are taught that we should not covet another person’s possessions. So why is it that when we form ourselves in large groups, countries, governments, and religions, we start acting like we are something "special," a cut above the rest of mankind? Why is it that we, as men who are equal, invest in these organizations the right to steal, in the form of taxation, the right to murder, in the form of war and human execution and covetousness in the form of conquest? By default we give the "leaders" of our societal organizations the human authority to lord over us as gods. They are allowed to commit any atrocity under the guise that the good of society justifies the means.

The world desperately needs the Men and Women of God to come together in God’s love to foster man’s love for his fellow man. It is imperative that theological opinions be set aside.

The power that would initiate from religious leaders coming together to put aside their differences and just meet to love one another as they love themselves would change the world of man. If a person who holds himself up as a leader of God’s "will" can not bring himself to love his fellow man, as God intended, he then has serious problems with God.

For this reason the establishment and operation of a Spiritual United Nations is not only needed, it is required.
